Exotermic cutting pencil independant of external sources of energy.
The exothermic cutting pencil is a cylindrical rod which diameter varies from 12 to 18 mm and the length from 150 to 250 mm.
It is destined for cutting metals mostly made of steel and cast iron.
The pencil consists of cylindrical combustible shell which contains the compacted exothermic mixture.
The ignition of the pencil is made by open fire – by gas lighter or by 3 – 4 burning matches.While burning the pencil provides high temperature .
This temperature and special additions ruin the surface of a metal being cut.

Relative humidity 60 %. * The length of cutting depends of the thickness of a metal and may be 200 – 250 mm for thin materials and 30 – 50 for thick materials. * The temperature of ignition - 8000C. * The temperature of burning - 2800-30000C. * The time of burning - 150 mm - 18 s, 200 - 24 s. +- 15% (6 mm/s).
